This fine painting of Sir Edward Heath M.P. painted by the Artist Stan Baldock was donated for sale by Brenda M. Muckley. The proceeds of the sale will benefit a charity in Nicaragua. Brenda quotes "We are raising funds to build schools, extensions to orphanages and to help the neediest of people over there. I visited 18 months ago and found it a most fulfilling time, albeit sometimes heartbreaking to see such need first hand. There is also a hovercraft project that is trying to be set up to link the east and west of the country. Rivers are totally unavigable half the year and people just can't reach hospitals so their lives are endangered. The hovercraft service will act as a taxi service for them".
